Help Blaenavon to recycle more
We are Blaenavon Green Team
We aim to promote environmental issues and engage the community to increase rates of recycling and reduce waste: making it easier for you to recycle items that are not collected by council collections.
We are launching with a new to Blaenavon collection scheme for currently unrecycled packaging, starting with crisp packets and medication blister packs, and we would love for you to join in. This would simply involve a personalised regular collection at your doorstep by a dedicated team of Blaenavon locals.
Not everyone is able, or has the time, to take all their recyclables to a recycling centre. We want to increase the recycling culture of the town and make it easier for you to help the planet.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE
How one person can help

In just six months, John saves enough aluminium in blister packs to make 27 fizzy drink cans. Think what our community can do together!
